Seasons Life Threatening Illness Print E-mail

ImageThe Life Threatening Illness is a peer support program for children and young people aged 5-18 who have a family member or significant other person living with a serious illness. It is intended to provide participants with the opportunity to share their stories and explore ideas of hope and spirituality with their peers, who are experiencing similar situations. The program can be offered as a group peer support program facilitated by a Seasons trained adult Companion, or the ‘whole class’ approach where Centacare provides training for schools or agency staff enabling them to conduct the Life Threatening Illness program in their own settings.
