Australian Story: Pay It Forward |

Australian Story aired a piece entitled 'Pay it Forward' (on 28 June 2010) which featured Centacare's Healthy Relationships presenter, youth mentor and former AFL footballer Glenn Manton in a harrowing but ultimately inspirational tale of sportsmanship, mentoring and redemption through three generations of Australian Rules football players.

Bushfire Recovery Men's Getaways |

The Age ran an article (12/12/2009) on Men's Getaways for men from bushfire affected communities. This series of weekend getaways were funded by Centacare's Bushfire Community Recovery Service and organised by the Hurstbridge Bushfire Support Centre to enable the men to go fishing in East Gippsland, relax together and talk. Some of the men from Flowerdale tell their story of what they shared on Black Saturday and how important it has been for them to keep talking and supporting each other.
