The Centacare Catholic Family Services Appeal is to be held in Parishes within the Archdiocese of Melbourne on August 2 & 3, 2008. This appeal is an important fundraising event for Centacare as it provides much of the financial support required to conduct our program and services. The appeal also provides an opportunity to communicate with parishioners about our innovative programs designed to provide preventative interventions and support to families and individuals. Centacare undertakes this work on behalf of the people and Parishes of the Catholic community of Melbourne and Geelong.

In conducting the Appeal in your Parish we would recommend the use of a speaker to represent Centacare. We will provide a speaker or you might like to nominate a person from your own parish to speak on behalf of Centacare. We will provide a Speaker Information Kit to assist the nominated person. We can also provide an audio PowerPoint presentation to conduct the appeal if you prefer this mode of presentation. If the appeal date conflicts with another Parish event, please nominate a weekend more suitable.
