Centacare is a community organisation with a record service and experience that spans over seventy years. In response to changes in society and the economy Centacare has expanded its services to meet the needs of a growing number of families and individuals, who have fallen on difficult times in recent years. According to the latest Bureau of Statistic figures, the average Australian is female, Catholic and with two children. As a Catholic agency we represent the most prominent demographic in Australia, but also seek to serve the broader community regardless of gender, faith, cultural or socio-economic background. We are professional and work in the best interests of our clients and their families, with special emphasis on protecting and nurturing children.
